Réttarholtsskóli school rules
The national curriculum for primary schools emphasizes that students must learn to interact with each other and all school staff in harmony, take responsibility for their own conduct and behavior, and respect school rules. Students' fundamental rights include having a peaceful work environment at school so they can best master their studies and benefit from teaching (p. 45).
Réttarholtsskóli's rules are written in consultation with students and school staff. The school's rules are mainly presented in a positive spirit to guide behavior and communication between students and staff. Students have the right to education that brings out each individual's abilities. Staff and students must create conditions that allow everyone to reach this goal.

- BE DILIGENT: Do your best.
- BE HONEST: Show others that you can be trusted.
- DON'T DISTRUST OTHERS WITHOUT REASON: Believe that others genuinely want to help you.
- BE RESPONSIBLE: Take responsibility for your own words and actions.
